Easter Flowers

I made this card with my downline at our last meeting. We were working with fun and easy techniques and watercoloring is definitely fun and easy! You can't really see it from this photo but the background paper was run through the Big Shot and embossed to create more dimension to the card. If you would like to learn some great watercoloring techniques head over to my business website and call me about scheduling a free class for you and your friends. Happy stamping!

Friendship Cards

I made these cards as a gift last month and hadn't uploaded them yet. The holder for them is made with the thin Window Sheets run through the Big Shot with the Finial Press embossing folder. I wanted something fun and bright, doesn't the Bermuda Bay color do that just perfectly? If you love this color you might want to start picking up your reinkers and extra packages of cardstock now because last year the colors started running out about a month before the end of the catalog and believe it or not that is coming up already! You can always place an order with me 24/7 through my business website here or just give me a call to place an order over the phone with me. Would you like to schedule a workshop and get some of your order free along with exclusive stamp sets? Call me and we can set that up too! Happy stamping!

Happy Mother's Day

This is the last challenge for Connie and Julie. We needed to make a Mother's Day card and I decided to make something a little different than my other pieces because I know that this is something my mom would like to get :) I did lots of paper piercing into the vellum and added loads of glitter to the images on the card, actually there was enough glitz that getting a photo was a little tricky! I hope you enjoyed looking I know that I enjoyed creating it.

Downline Gifts

Here are two more projects I made from the templates from the Connie and Julie website. The first one here is a business card holder using the Top Note die. Anybody that signs up with me during Sale-A-Bration is getting one of these made for them.
The second one is a lip gloss holder. Connie and Julie used a compact but I just couldn't find one anywhere for some reason. Watch now that I've posted this I'll see them pop up everywhere. Can you tell how much I've enjoyed the Totally Tess stamp set? This set would be great for cards that you wanted to give a beautician or if you are a make-up lady (you know those pink ones). The scissors would be great for the beautician and the marker could easily look like a make-up wand. I'm just saying don't forget to look beyond the obvious Stampin' Up chicky.

Sending some light

This was a project that was shown on the Connie and Julie website. It folds up nice and small but then fits a full sized battery operated votive in it perfectly. It was pretty easy to make this and it was definitely fun to decorate.

Going Green

This is project we made for my Going Green class. The ladies had so much fun with him! Punch art is so easy and adding to the treat cups just makes it pop! or is that hop? I'm glad that Stampin' Up! decided to keep the heart treat cups through to the next catalog they are a lot more versatile than you might think. Hoppy stamping!

Happy Mother's Day Gift

Here is a project I've spent the week working on. It is a special Mother's Day gift with card. I made one of those ornament punch roses but instead of leaving my card stock alone I dyed my shimmery white paint So Saffron and Orchid Opulence. That is part of why it took me so long to finish the project. I had to wait for the So Saffron to dry then I painted on the Orchid Opulence and waited for that to dry. It looks beautiful and was well worth the wait time IMO.
This is the gift part of this. It is an original box design that will hold two full sized chocolate bars or the 6.5X3.25 long card that fit in our Small Open End Envelopes. So you could make this a pretty stationary set or a candy holder. These projects were so much fun and I really enjoyed making a new box design up. 3-D projects are totally my thing. Have a stamp happy day!
